9 Year old boy tries to hug president Trump multiple times during bill signing and here is what happened next
A nine-year-old boy with muscular dystrophy melted hearts across the country when he hugged President Donald Trump at the Right to Try Act signing on Wednesday.
The bill gives patients who have potentially terminal illnesses the right to use experimental medications that have not yet been approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.
"Today I am proud to keep another promise to the American people as I sign the Right to Try legislation into law," Trump said. "We're going to be saving tremendous numbers of lives."
After Trump signed the bill, Jordan McLinn, of Indianapolis, approached the president to express his gratitude. Trump pulled him in for a hug and planted a kiss on his forehead in a heartwarming moment.
