The reason why Fred has yet to be officially unveiled as a Man United player revealed

 
Although an announcement was made from Manchester United, as they confirmed that a fee had been agreed with Shakhtar Donetsk for the acquisition of Fred, we’re still waiting on his official unveiling.
Now, the Manchester Evening News have discovered why. They say that personal terms with the 25-year-old are yet to be finalised, despite the fact that he’s already passed his medical before flying out to Russia for the World Cup.

It was clear that United wanted to sort the transfer out before the player headed off to Russia, and that obviously makes perfect sense. However, in their hurriedness, it seems as though there is still one or two minor details to iron out.

Not to worry, though, with Sky Sports confirming that the deal should be completed within the next week. That was four days ago. Hopefully, we’ll hear something concrete soon.
Apparently, his work permit has been sorted, and there is no major concern from either party. The deal will go through, it’s just a cause of when rather than if. Although it’s frustrating, that’s the nature of the modern-day game when there is vast amounts of money involved.
