Torn Between Two Lovers: Man Decides Whom to Save First When Girlfriend and Ex Jump into River

 
Wu Hsia, 21, is a Chinese man whose love story took a life-threatening turn. He was presented with the most difficult decision someone in love could ever make: to choose whose life he would save first if his current girlfriend and ex-girlfriend are both in danger.
Since Hsia was being nagged from both sides, he decided to meet with 20-year-old Jun Tang, his longtime ex, along with his current girlfriend, Rong Tsao, 22. Tang took the breakup pretty bad and has been harassing Hsia, so he decided to meet with them to clear things out, but then things got dicey.
The two women got into an argument that quickly escalated into a dangerous scenario. From out of the blue, Tang suddenly threw herself into the river after she felt insulted by Tsao’s comment. Fearing her boyfriend would jump in to save Tang, Tsao also jumped into the river. Hsia had to make a decision: who would he save?
Hsia wasn’t really sure what was happening, but he knew he had to do something. He jumped into the river and saved the one he truly loves. Hsia told reporters, “I was put in a difficult situation and had to make a choice between right and wrong, and I chose Rong.” (Important note: no pun intended.)
To help Tang, Hsia called his brother over to save her.
Tang was later found by firefighters 20 meters away from the riverbank, covered in mud. On the other hand, Tsao had to be sent to a hospital for treatment, after hitting a boat and sustaining minor injuries.
The bizarre love story has gone viral on Chinese social media.
Moral of the story? Don’t meet with your ex-girlfriend and current lover at the same time near a river because apparently, this could happen.
